The purpose of the sewage treatment facilities is to treat the sewage of domestic and/or industrial origin for further reuse or disposal in a water body.

In this deployment, the extremely low permeability, the excellent mechanical, chemical and biological attack resistance of the HDPE geomembrane impedes contamination of the soil and the water.
